Description

This silver ring was made with lost wax casting using ancient Japanese Mitsuro Hikime wax recipe and special modeling technique.

First I start making it by warming up and mixing several ingredients in one cohesive mixture. After letting it cool down, trying it, maybe tweaking the recipe and remixing it again – finally I start to shape wax into the jewellery I imagine, which later on will be cast in silver or gold. Sometimes it forms as I want and sometimes the end result is a beautiful surprise even for me.

Ring lies very comfortably on the finger, because the inside is well polished.

All jewellery is marked with the Lithuanian Assay Office and my author’s stamp.
